Fethaland is the most northerly point on the mainland of Shetland

Fethaland is the most northerly point of the Shetland mainland.

On the shores of this little “voe” or bay, fishermen lived in small lodges from June to August each year exploiting the short summer fishery in small open boats close to this remote northern shore. It is now totally deserted.
